42" TSL swampers, grooved, love 'em! A big improvement over the 38's I used to have.
Uh-oh...I just got my new 47" LTB swampers yesterday.
Post up pics and let us know how you like them, I want to run a set on the next rig I build (this fall?) Oh yeah, running 38.5 SX's. Not big enough for a full-size.

I am running 33x12.50x15 Goodyear MT/Rs now and love them. So far they have passed all the test I have gave them. Moses Lake Sand, deep mud, deep snow, rocky hill climbs and some side hilling. I have not run them on compact snow and ice yet. They haven't been on the pavement much either so I couldn't tell you about how they handle aired up. I have been running 10 lbs most of the time I have owned them.

I will buy another set.

Had those exact tires on my 93 grand cherokee.. siped.. loved em. If they offered a better weight rating I'd run em on my truck.

HEY CEG, check your lug nuts on the right front, one appears to be missing.
Thanks. What a good eye. They are all on now. The picture was taken in the back yard on a new mod test. One lock nut on each wheel wasn't put on until after we made sure everything check out.

I will be looking for heavy ply tires for my 3/4 ton Suburban next year. I never gave it any thought if the MT/Rs would be my choice on that heavy rig. The tires will have to have a heavy load rating for towing the toys and be aggressive enough take off road. It has Wild Cat’s on it right now and they suck for traction. Most of the LS tires I have run sucked for one reason or another. I bought a set of 10 ply Wild Country TXRs for my 2 wheel drive ¾ pickup and have not put to many miles on them and they are wearing down fast. I bought these tires because I only use the truck to haul/pull loads down the highway and I needed to have traction in the snow on the road and the mud on the ranch. They do have great traction, but seem not long lived.

With that said, What would be a good all around heavy load aggressive tire?

My next tire for the Ram will be the Super swamper Truxus M/T. 3750 lbs a piece at 80 psi :clappy:

Thoes are good tires for the price, you'll like em

i ran the crap out of 2sets of bias tsl's. definiatly would buy them again, but for the size-vs-price gonna have to go with the irocks
im really curious about the creepy crawlers from maxxis thought???????

I am running 39.5 Iroks, I think they are the best tire you can get in that price range. Only dissappointment is seeing the 42" Iroks and how much more tread they have on them  But as often as I currently wheel, tire wear is not a big issue.

Worst tires I have run are 35" SSR's

35" Toyo's MTs

I don't think I would buy another set. They tend to into racing slicks in the mud. And they Hydro plane(13.5" wide) on the freeway. Those are my biggest two complaints. That and they are really heavy for there size. But I have gotten really good mileage out of them and they have really thick side walls. They're quite on the road and really stick to rock. They seem to do ok in dry dirt.

IROC's

never wheeled them, but after seeing my buddys wear out so quick I will go back to TSL radial's after these wear out.
