So I hadnt changed my toy much in the last year so before memorial day I did my usual mad dash to get it done 3 week build, this time focusing on the front of the almost trugy. I had seen this atempted before on a toy and liked the idea so I went for it with the intention of doing a way clean job. You determine if I suceeded.

Step 1) Make crazy 3 dimensional tube bends

Step 2) asemble tube and hack out iner fenders, roll new iner fenders out of 20ga, move batery to bed, airbox nolonger fits in stock local, and what the heck, remove engine and instal new one, just for fun. And just for S&Gs build new 155ss tie-rods.

Step 3) Paint and enjoy!

I dont have any more under construction pics cuz I was kina busy, it's not so blingn' anymore after floping in to a tree in the snow and roling in the rock garden at rieter. I know I've posted specs on the almost trugy before, so here's what I changed. New front tube work all 1 3/4 .120 wall HREW, (cage id DOM). Newley rebuilt 22RE with wayyyyy to much time and money with 10:1 compresion forged pistons, bored .080 over, LCE cam, 1mm larger SS valves, entire rotating asembley balnced. Rebuilt front axle with new 5.29s, detroit locker and cromoly longs. That was it for this attack on the truck, after rolover incidents I think she's gettin wayyy more tube, and no cab.

I will keep you in mind. I will soon need a internal cage for my Grand Cherokee. Oh and if I decide to lock up my kid I may be interested in some jail window's as well:haha:
