Looks perfect. As long as your backlash is in spec it should be great.

Someday, you can teach me to get a pattern like that.

i am wondering what brand gears those are?

it seems to me a set of "dana" gears is the only ones ive been able to get the perfect pattern.

its also seems to me the cheaper the gear set the pattern can be made acceptable but never perfect...

what is your opinions about gear brands and acceptable patterns?

I have to agree hip. I typically only get extreemly good patterns when I do diffs with spicers. I think it comes down to how they are lapping the gearsets because if you take the same yukon gear set after its been ran for some time the pattern will widen on the tooth.

As for acceptable usually depends on if its a front/rear diff as to where I put the pattern.

At work I have to get them nab on or I get another gearset because with today's vehicles any noise from the diff and you will hear it....
