Any cylinder damage?

You might be able to get away with couple new pistons, but need to do some very carefull measuring.

Any head damage or valves burnt?

lol.. no the pistons are supposed to look like that. I have a pyro gauge.. how else would I have known I was over 1800*? :haha:

I see a couple imperfections in the gasket.. and a couple of the bolts are all nasty and corroded around #5. And a whole lotta oil in the water :puke:

The size of that injection pump just amazes me though.. It's HUGE.

You didn't really need to pull the head and waterpump just to tab the KDP, you know...
You missed the part about oil in the water? There isn't supposed to be oil in the water :flipoff:

So it looks like you lost a head gasket? Any reason why it happened? I havent heard of this as I normal problem, could the mods have hurt it that bad? How many miles on it? Just trying to learn...

Jeff has done a bit of "tinkering" on that engine. Its been thru a little bit of abuse you might say. What was its max output Jeff??

Wow jeff 18hun is hot. Now we know why the o-ringing and head studs are a popular mod. I am sorry to hear this.I hope you can get it back together before spring.

I honestly dont know what happened yet.. Going to have the head checked out, then ported, ringed and get some studs. Still have to figure out if the block or head is cracked or if it is just the gasket (I really cant tell :redneck: ) I dont think it was excess boost, I hit 48 psi max with the modified HX40 I grenaded. I have run the truck pretty damn hard.. So anything is possible. Usually when the head gasket goes. It spits out the side and is easily visible. Not the case with mine. I was hoping the problem would jump out and smack me between the eyes.. I wasn't that lucky.

Troy.. I do have a Gasser! atleast I bought one after the diesel broke :haha:

I only got 414 with whatever is cracked or blown. I should be in the low 500's to 520's or so once I fix the problem. Its certainly nothing impressive.. Hell at Diesel thunder you were hard pressed to find anyone under that.. Most trucks were 500 -800+.

broke something else ehh... good lord jeffy, you break my **** then I do... and that says a lot... btw, tell stephy to have her big breasted friends get ready for my arrival

Well to be honest jeff the only thing that makes me nervous about your situation is the way the oil is in the water. I have had a few head gaskets on gassers blow and the oil stayed in the pan. I had a block crack and the oil injected itself into all the water containers like yours. Just wish you had pressure tested it before you took it apart. I hope it is just a head gasket and nice 2wd toy find. what did you have to give for it?

Are you really towing that 7000+ lb truck with your 22RE powered Toyota? That looks like a tow strap.
