Is there a cheap way to mount a air driven hydraulic ram to a JD2 bender??? i decided after bending one piece of tube that if i plan to do more of this i want it to be easier:D i saw this and was wondering if it's easy to install of if there are any other ideas or sugestions for this out there, i just dont wanna spen $400 for the setup from jd2:mad:

More like el lazy.

I was talking about how you should have just built that one I showed you that was already air/hydro. Wouldve been about the same price as what you have now, which isnt air/hydro yet :D

ya but i don't have the tools to really make that style of bender look/function nicely/smoothly:booo: so i bought the cool kids one:redneck: plus 39.5 IROKs work well for the height the bender is at to keep the toob level:;
 
I use that same ram on my PT105 bender and it works fine. As for cheap... I mounted it on one of those useless 3 wheel engine stands that I bent with a 460. I set it up vertical cuz that's how I've been bending conduit for 20+ years.

That's about how I did my PT105HD as well, but I made my own stand. Works great. Still gota re-pin 1 time for 90* (still not sure how I did THAT:eeek: )
but it's WAY better than doing it manually. I got the ram off Ebay, $67.50 with shipping:awesomework:
