Good tires? What year are the rims? They look like 2nd to 3rd gen rims.

So, the seller states that the middle tread is about 3/8 inch while the outer tread is about 1/2 inch.

Doesn't seem like these will last very long, as I put about 100 miles per day on the rig driving to work and back.

I believe they will fit (99%).
Are they worth it???
How much tire life?
Those rims go for cheep becouse everyone is bumping up to the 17' rim from the newer dodge's.
I think I sold mine in the $150 ish range with tire that were just below 50%.

Well, I'm going to check them out Saturday. Taking a jack with me, cuz if they don't fit, I ain't buying them.

I would say they have about 20k left in them. I'd rather keep the 16" tires. If they do fit, I'm buying some studded tires to change over in November.

The only thing I'm wondering is if they came off a 4x4 or a 2x4.

I'm not sure why, but I had it in my head that you had a duallie, which was going to be my initial post...

But anyway, I think they should fit... try them out first though on the front and back.

Also, post pics if you buy 'em cause I'm curious to see how the 2nd gen rims look on the earlier rigs.

According to the guy, they came off a 93, but I am still going to check before I pass over cash.

I'd like a dually, but that's the next rig... That and I really need a reason to haul that much dead weight around. The 93 is a DD right now.

Okay. I bought the ties and rims, Came with a spare rim and hub cap. Now my question is, how do I cut the Ram out of two of the hub caps as to make them fit over my front hubs?

Not sure why you'd want to.

Two reasons:

1. I don't have auto-locking hubs in front.
2. I'm thinking that if they look somewhat alike, front to back, they would look better. I don't think they make these covers to fit 93 4x4.
I could always scrub the area of the lugs down, but I'm not sure that would do what I want.

I think I'm going to try a Dremel tool to take them out. I was hoping for an easier way.

Anyway, I need to get some stock size lugs to put both the rims and the hub caps on. The rims I have are kinda thick, so the lug nuts stick out a bit far. That and the lock lugs don't want to go all the way to the rim.

So stock lugs and locks that fit the 2nd gen rims... Wish list...

You might try an open-ended sleeve of some sort to go over the hub if you can't Dremel the center of that hub out to fit.

I don't use them myself because I think they trap dirt and water where I would rather not have it.

I was going to try that, but from what I can see on the rear, the hub hole it tighter thana $500 hooker, so I'm not sure I can get the ones I have to fit the front. I can try, but I would like it to look somewhat good.
