Darn. No more how to wire your trailer or 265” mud tire tests. Quit reading a long time ago. I got tons more knowledge from this website that was unbiased
The 46. That’s only one out right now
Chris from USD messaged me on my way home and we spoke for first time. He wanted some feed back. They will be testing the 40 next week. And I’m tryna talk him out a set for a fren to run on a one ton buggy. These things flat out dig. They...
riot chassis on Rockwell’s. LS2 4l80/205. USD tires. 4800 pounds
we thought I had made a mistake getting these tires. We tried all weekend to find something the other sticky’s would get them on.
I haven’t ya the chance to ride against the mickeys yet. Hopefully soon. But I didn’t even have to turn these tires up. They would be deadly on light rig with lots of gearing and good patient driver
I walked all over sx. Treps. And reds. At aop last weekend. Several dif rigs and styles of driving
These tires are the truth. I’m nobody. But watching folks try to race these tires is painful.
I wouldn’t base trail rigs on what wins races.
That’s my humble opinion anyway.
I’m sure there is enough tire in the new mega to cut it into a good east coast tire. But I’m not impressed at the moment. But I’ve been wrong before. Can’t wait to run my USDs against some for honest answer. So far they have hurt feelings.
SO!!!! Is there anyone not sponsored or has the balls to honestly tell us which is better????? I’d like to hear from someone who has run both SX and the USD.... folks acting like it’s top secret?????????????????????????????????
In my humble opinion your killing what's great about the LS by doing away with the LS harness and injection
I've ran truck avengers I've ran pane. I've watched everyone fight Holley efi. And LS injection is hands down best thing I've ever run. Find a harness and never look back
Thanks Eddie ....
Red94yj I've ran them on the street before. They chatter and they get hot.... but I've drove them all over.... I've also run the drums on high way but prolly gone build a disk break setup this time around and full hydro steering ...
Ray. I'm building my old truck from highschool. I just want a decent all around trail rig.... stacking parts for a buggy but this one is sentimental ...... wanna be able to trail it and daily as well 5.3 th400/205 and rockwells I'd like 43s but will settle for boggers.
Was mostly wanting to read on it for the science of it all. For my knowledge.....
Proper Ackerman if I remember for rocks...is with tie rod on backside of axle. Right??
I been digging and digging
I can't remember was it in the "Rockwell makes yer sac swell" post??
If so I ain't found it yet??? Anyone got the link to the loooong discussion patooyee started on this???
My new rig will be daily"d from time to time and want steering perfect...
In my opinion naming yer own **** is gay....... it has to be given/earned.... kinda feel like yer friends should name it. It should be a general consensus and fit it well....
Mine was called Mookie because my frens were drunk around camp fire trying to come up with name...
Most yer old hauler trucks have assist. Hell even newer ones. I've ran full hydro 75mph one hand on the wheel. Take yer time an do it right. Assist will be fine
Yea it's gonna be slick as **** even if it doesn't rain any more
Our lil crew is pulling the trigger on Stoney lonesome see y'all there. Plan to ride Friday an Saturday.
It's cold in south Ga. But I'm hell bent on heading north next weekend. Friend just sent pics of snow an 15* temps in Sparta Tennessee. I've never wheeled in the snow.... Who knows might be fun. My other option is chocco or Stoney lonesome in Alabama. What's it lookin like in...
