    Tig rig recommendations

I just went through the same a while back.I would say the AHP 201xd. It is a very solid machine that will make high quality welds. I bought one and have been very pleased. https://ahpwelds.com/product/ahp-alphatig-201xd If i had not gotten it I was going to get an Everlast 255 EXT...

    French Tickler buggy

I put that cell in my buddies rig a few years ago and have had no leaks. The only issue is it has sunk in on the sides like its under vacuum. It isn't bad enough he is worried about it though.

I will be there Friday morning like every year for the last 10. Will Cardo Tracks be updating the general map? Last year I could not find the new trail Fattys crack on their map.

Stephen Broady's "An Actual Trail Rig" build

Build is looking good. Its hard to tell from the picture but that grab handle by the panel looks like a good way to loose fingers if that takes a hit there. Maybe its more than 4 inches off the panel given the camera angle?

Cold vulcanizing from Busted Knuckle Off Road

Hopefully the new blend is not just faster but performs just as good. Will be interested in results.

    .

I have had good luck with the oiled foam pre filters. They don't really restrict flow and seem to catch a lot keeping the main filter clean and are easy to wash. I usually use the largest K&N i can get away with and agree they don't wash out that well so I will just get a new one if they get...

    Off Road Engine Insurance

Yeah I wasn't trying to say pre oiling was needed. But if it's already there for other good reasons then why not on a high dollar build. Literally takes 2 seconds. There are valves that will do it for you with ignition power as well. I have never noticed my oil pressure be an issue without the...

    Off Road Engine Insurance

I have a question. It doesn't seem like a good idea to have the valve open when you first start it up as mentioned, due to it trying to fill the accumulator when the "dry" motor needs oil the most. Is the fill so slow that it doesn't reduce oiling immediately following startup? I have the same...

Mounting a phone in your rig.

There is a rubber piece you can see in the picture I posted that will stretch over the edges so it definitely cant go anywhere. I dont use that at all and have no concerns. I keep my phone sideways so left or right is the only way it could slide out I guess but I can't see that happening. Mine...

What is the going rate for DOM tubing right now?

Those prices dont mean anything to me not knowing were they come from. What city and are they private sales to a low volume customer?

What is the going rate for DOM tubing right now?

I have always thought selling it at a park/event would be a great idea. Lot of people decide they are going to build one there and already have a trailer or they have a buddy that needs some that didn't come. I bought some from like that one time and it was very convenient.

    soft sided cooler

I would also recomend dual layers. Some adhesive insulated shielding like I linked below will make a huge difference alone. I would put it on the bottom or in between two layers to eliminate heat. I used this on my fuel cell where the very top of the fans blow on it. I have no concerns about it...

    Roll Center Explained

I have thought for years low roll center is a common overlooked problem with top heavy rigs. I built the roll center as high as I could with my buddies exo caged Truggy and it made a big difference. Its surprisingly stable now.

    Flatlands #1

10-4 I had to google, but it looks like that is a little bump for the LS1. Still very pump gas friendly. Also, on the oil accumulator, I think I need to do the electric valve too. I have one on a manual valve that I mean to open when I plan to get a little rowdy but forget half the time or its...
