If it has a floor it needs a plate. Got ticketed in Milton for just that reason. Did some research and found out the cop was right. Got around that law by bolting it down to the truck making it "permanent" the judge allowed it.
How many people besides your own club show up at the work party's ? One of the biggest reasons I have thrown my support for you guys and what your doing at Elbe is because you have stepped up and taken "ownership" of the park. Unfortunately most of our member ship is getting older and just do...
Here's the big problem brad you can dig up all the old crap that you want. We and I have evolved with the times and support what's currently happening at Elbe. You can continue to live in the past but I am moving forward.
sorry for your experience. We have evolved just as rigs have and there are clubs that accept all kinds of rigs but more importantly is the person and or family. We also have the option of individual membership so you can be involved and supportive.
Bullshit. In the beginning we had a trailer donated by our region director. turned out that the DNR did not have a truck available to use that was big enough to pull it. We finally just wound up buying a new one from region funds and the some of clubs helped pay for it by donating. What has...
Well your finally getting around to admitting the truth at least as to where the idea came from. Now does anybody really believe that Gibby who drives a long wheelbase Toyota with full size axles would really champion a wheelbase and width restriction :eeek: I did not follow the mob I stated...
I believe that's from a post discussing the little rattlesnake trail and once again the USFS set the width we nor I did. it was part of their way to curtail damage and overuse of the trail.
Couple of questions for you Brad.
1. Were you at the Elbe focus group meeting when I supposedly suggested that the trails have a length and width restriction ?
2. Were you at the following region meeting where you claim the PNW4WDA said to go with the restrictions ?
3. Were you at the big...
Total bullshit. When this came back to the region two meeting it was overwhelmingly voted down by the pnw4wda.
Once again you prove just how clueless you are to the facts. Must b because you are so involved in keeping trails open.
Speaking of false prophets and the drinking of Kool-Aid. Steve Russell LIED to you and set in motion a disaster that almost cost us a great advocate at elbe (Nancy) The PNW4WDA never suggested or tried to create any width or length restrictions at Elbe. It was a thought from the DNR thrown out...
Your more than welcome to try and change the way user built trails are managed by the DNR but please quit sending us backwards by trying to interfere with what PW is doing in the Yacolt burn area. Great things are about to happen and we don't need another North fork fiasco like you caused up north.
For the same reasons as to why they didn't allow any of the user built trails at Reiter to remain or any of the trails in the Northfork. Their not allowed to have anything that they are not able to manage. Don't get me wrong I wish you well but from working with the "system" for many years I...
That's to bad Anthony because you are worth my time and that's why I spend so much time making sure our trails stay open. Bottom line is until we all learn to put out own biases aside and come together as one huge group then were doomed to keep just trying to stay afloat.
Way to take thing out of context chad. My statement was actually aimed at our own members / and non members who like to complain about the status qou within the PNW. Aren't you one of the people that have complained about the lack of people le at the elbe workpartys ?
I would think that of all...
This is exactly why I support what's going on at Elbe and reiter as well as all of the other areas including easier trails like copper city (just reopened)
