    BeerJ's BuzzBuggy Build-o-rama!

Aside from mounting the antenna, mounting the ptt buttons and tying up some dangling wires, I'm calling it done. For now. Also need to make some headset hangers. Haven't had a chance to mess with the radio but the intercom is a game changer. Had the buggy idling in the garage and my daughter and...

I'd say give yourself as much room as possible without making it too heavy. Where you park the buggy is probably going to have the biggest influence on how the weight is distributed. More room equals more adjustment.

    Favorite Place to Wheel?

Yeah, the lack of night riding is kinda lame. I guess I'm used to it by now. I'm sure I'd feel differently too if I was camping. But I'm only an hour away so I just go home everyday.

    Favorite Place to Wheel?

I've only wheeled 3 parks. Rausch Creek, AOAA and Harlan. Part of me wants to say Rausch, but I love harlan as well. I need to get around more.

Yeah. I thought about just getting an adapter for the plug but I still need like 12" to run from the radio, out of the console. Would like to be able to remove the headsets when I'm not using them but won't have quick access to the back to unplug.

    Trail Comms?

So my intake tube has always been barely hanging on to the intake manifold. PITA to get to (my fault) but while scoping for a spot for the radio, I got good access to get that fixed up. So yeah, I go into things to get one thing done, and fix however many more I gain access to along the way

    BeerJ's BuzzBuggy Build-o-rama!

I've heard the same so added an audio filter as well as radio and comms grounding straps. Hopefully it helps. Been reading through a lot of Rugged's literature. A good bit of it is in regards to reducing interference and electrical noise. For instance, apparently it's a bad idea to coil up any...

    BeerJ's BuzzBuggy Build-o-rama!

I'm hoping for the best. My biggest concern is that I can get the VOX adjusted so it picks up voices, and not the exhaust. That said, it isn't nearly as loud inside as out.

    BeerJ's BuzzBuggy Build-o-rama!

Honestly, I think I'd prefer this over having them face me. I just feel like it would be an annoying kind of bright when riding at night. Or maybe I'm justifying it to stay happy. Either one is fine for me.

    My Angryfab buggy "ISSUES"

Well shucks, that's no fun. Any idea what's going on inside of it? First time I was ever in a trans was when I rebuilt my wifes 350, which is about the same as a 400, far as I know. Wonder if yours isn't still salvageable. Not that you shouldn't go with the new ptc but you could maybe sell it or...

That's a nice color to go with the green. So what's up with the trans? Was it stock?

This is what I meant. You get the idea. Will get side panels as well. So the panel behind the radios will bolt to the tubing, and the 2 vertical pieces below the radios will bolt to the back side of the existing console. Maybe I should do less talking and more building.

    BeerJ's BuzzBuggy Build-o-rama!

Figured I should update this and continue documenting my struggles. Started a thread about comms (https://www.hardlinecrawlers.com/threads/trail-comms.62852/page-2) and ended up basically going through my installation process. Gonna pick up where I left off over here. So my great new idea to...
