    What makes a good trail?

That's how a few of the trails were for my first couple of times at Harlan. Just follow the pack and realize that the exit for Your Turn is how it was and that was your only way out.

    What makes a good trail?

I bet it'll full of everyone driving by, not doing the trail.

    What makes a good trail?

Big factor here. I didn't consider what it'll be like in mid August

    What makes a good trail?

So a video was recently released showing (local to me) AOAA's new "unnamed" trail. When it was originally announced that they would build it, it was touted as "The Rubicon of the East". With a budget of 10.5 million, there was definitely potential. However, it appears to me to just be a very...

    Re-venge YJ Tons Swap

Nothing too exciting. Finally got the bugs completely resolved in her steering. But leading up to it, I swapped the orbital, swapped mine and her rams, bypassed the cooler and disassembled the flow control valve. None of which helped. But things got better when I loosened the mounting bolts for...

    Let's see your tow rig!!!

Pulled my 35' gooseneck with both rigs yesterday for the first time. No cool pics to show other than my scale slip. Was hoping that stepping up to a dually would be worth it. I gotta say, the hype is real. Not once did it ever feel like the trailer was driving the truck. I might not even bother...

    Trailer deck treatment

Does it ever start to stink again or bleed when it gets hot out?

Question for those with CTM/Yukon joints

Yeah. AOAA is mostly either really easy stuff or they just find a random pile of huge pointy boulders that nobody has ever driven on and call it a trail. Haven't been to FRO yet

Question for those with CTM/Yukon joints

Yeah, but then I'd still spend the difference on fuel to get there. More like time to move

Question for those with CTM/Yukon joints

I will most certainly continue complaing about park fees. Will cost us $230 the first day we go this year. Then $130 per day after that.

    Night riding lights

I run those same cube lights as well, have been for 5 years. 1 on each corner and another pair for headlights. They've held up just fine to the pressure washing. They're super bright. So much that when I encounter oncoming traffic, I'll kill the headlights and can still see fine with the rock...

Throwing in the towel - my MarsFab buggy build

Good deal. Doing anything cool with the wrap or just a solid color? I've considered it but kinda want to do it myself since A; I'm cheap and 2; I can fix it if/when it gets boogerd up

Drag Week / Rocky Mountain Race Week...for the offroad crowd?

I'm not saying there's not some pretty damn fast cars doing it. I guess I was thinking about cars that would fall somewhere between pro stock and top fuel. Seems like the fastest you'll see on drag week are about equal to pro stock.

Drag Week / Rocky Mountain Race Week...for the offroad crowd?

I think that's where the similarities with drag week stuff is apparent. Most if not all of the guys running slicks will swap tires for the travel sections. They also have "street legal" cars. Sure there's plenty of faster cars but lots of them don't qualify since they're basically too overbuilt...
