I'm definitely not saying that's not what happened. That's way above my pay grade, to be able to figure something out like that, through all the damage. Regardless of what caused it, it's definitely unfortunate.
I seen the wreckage they posted. Tore all to hell and burnt. Now, with all that damage and a speed of 550+ mph, how the hell they know a front wheel failure happened?
Damn, that sucks. My wife has a 2008 Tahoe 4x4 with the 5.3. It pulls my 18' car trailer and my yota truggy just fine. Not sure what gear it has, but it must be a good bit lower than your truck.
Glad y'all are ok. When I rolled mine, it was after I had the exo cutoff and had a internal cage put in, it didn't even bend the tubing, caved the passenger side a pillar and roof down to the cage. That's when the roof got cut off.
