    Electric hydraulic pump for steering?

Re: Re: Re: Electric hydraulic pump for steering? Maybe can go with a forward swing box such as scout or full-size bronco. It would be my last resort, but could build a swing set setup like some of the U4 buggies run.

    Electric hydraulic pump for steering?

Re: Re: Electric hydraulic pump for steering? I would probably look at the electric column with a manual steering box. There was a rhino for sale on here a while back with Sami axles. Not sure what they did for it.

    Wilwood break question

Re: Re: Wilwood break question Do you have separate pedals or 1 with balance bar? What issue are you having? No stopping, stiff pedal, soft pedal, etc? When trying to diagnose/improve, it's best if you can isolate the systems.

    Golden Mountain Park - Closing

Re: Re: Golden Mountain Park - Closing I agree, it would be a challenge, but for someone with business sense, they could figure out how to work both. There is big money in wedding venues these days, so it would be worth the effort, imo.

    Wilwood break question

Is the front pedal firm to the floor or soft? Can you pump it up? Does the rear work, or just stiff? I haven't ran the numbers, but my guess is 7/8 is too big, without going boosted. Residual valves help to keep fluid in the caliper. Many of the bigger calipers hold much more fluid than...

    Golden Mountain Park - Closing

Re: Re: Golden Mountain Park - Closing Funny, seeing as hardline was/is a member. If you look at older pics of the place online, someone cared and wanted to make money at some point. Motor cross, dirt track racing, weddings, etc... they tried it all at one point. Hell, you could probly keep...

    Golden Mountain Park - Closing

I think you could do it, if you could get some big names to back/ promote it. As for GMP, wonder if the owner would be open to leasing the property? There are a few offroad parks in nc that are leased by clubs/individuals and they make a small profit atleast.

    Clayton H. Accident

I believe he's asking about a seat being in a reclined position. It is common for room/ comfort to have the front of the seat mounted higher/taller than the rear of the seat. So the harness would be countering different forces if mounted in the same position as when the seat was mounted flat.

    Mini jeep kid crawler steering

Some have used boat helms, but it can still be hard to steer. There is a Subaru that has electric ps pump that is popular. I suggest using electric steering from a saturn vue or similar. Will likely need to add an alternator for that or the electric pump.

I’m sure this has been covered.......

And likely a ton more miles and higher price vs the van. Maybe a crew 3/4 ton gasser.

    Steering... Quicker

Re: Re: Steering... Quicker I believe that rockwells technically can do 9", but many run 10s. Is your steering in front of the axle or behind?

    Steering... Quicker

Re: Re: Steering... Quicker That cylinder takes 42.4 in3 of fluid to fill lock to lock. With a 5.6 you are 7 turns, with a 9.6 you are 4.5 turns, with a 12.2 you are 3.5 turns. How big of a pump you need depends on how fast you want to be able to turn the wheel.
