    Fuel cell venting

Either way, I think the rollover valve still stays on the tank vs the end of the hose, correct?

    Unit Bearing on kingpin knuckle

The adapter I built was manly so you could reuse a standard length stub. The 05+ UB wont bolt to the knuckle, and it has a much larger bore and pattern on the back. It might be possible to machine the knuckle to accept the larger UB, but not sure what that would change, as far as strength...

    New Years Plans???

Kinda surprised at how well the rzr stuck with the 43s. power to weight helps with that i suspect. Also, in 2x speed, it almost looks like watching RC rigs run.

    Rockwells make your sac swell!

maybe it isnt cheap, but what about 05+ SD outers, on your rockwell housing? have to do some type of wheel adapter.

    Unit Bearing on kingpin knuckle

The 99-04 unit bearing is the closest to fitting. If custom shafts arent an issue, it should be able to bolt up easily. 05+ UB idea basically died. Noone would pay for the adapter to run it on KP knuckles, given how cheap/easy it would be to swap the knuckles/axle. If you arent limited by...

    This place is dead...

Yup. A few friends in town run "truck/jeep/offroad" shops. They went into it because they loved offroad but quickly realized that lift kits and big wheels are what pays the bills. Getting to work on true offroad vehicles or cool cars are what they get to do because of all the 3" lift with...

    Line locks

Are you wanting a manual one, like a ball valve, or an electronic one? I feel like electronic is easier to plump, but in an open buggy, it might not matter.

Trying to get it mostly right the first time: A 5.9 Magnum and 46RE swapped, Tummy Tucked Daily Driven Jeep TJ

Could you run 2 smaller fans, or a pusher? I know its not ideal, but might fit better.

    French Tickler buggy

You are correct. It seems that most believe that positive ackerman is ideal, but there are definite arguments for parallel or reverse (negative). Im interested to learn from your experience, on which you feel works the best, as much of the calculations and discussion is around street/race cars.

    French Tickler buggy

I was just re-reading your last posts. Are you wanting to get reverse or parallel Ackerman with your steering? Having the tierod mounts outboard of the kingpin should create better Ackerman. Since the factory Ackerman is designed around a WB of 142-176", the tierod mount really needs to move...

    French Tickler buggy

In general, I would agree. But the breakage could have also been worse in this case. There was a comment about using the same arms but in double shear, and still broke them. Not sure if that was double shear with the factory arm, or just the steering attachment. Either way, Tying into the...

Diesel fuel is in short supply

Throw in the fact that the govt forced all Maritime Diesel to switch to ULSD, which would have impacted this in 2020, but the pandemic pushed it out 2 yrs.

    Trailer deck treatment

Be careful doing this if the boards arent dried out. It could cause them to hold the moisture and rot from the inside out.

    Improve Hydroboost Brakes

Another option to going with a smaller master, could be to go to a larger caliper/brake setup. But this might not work with current wheels, depending on the size youre running.

    Custom buggy hauler

Only state I have heard give tickets for no fenders, is VA. Could have been the only thing they found wrong after pulling them over, idk, but I know of a few people that have gotten them.

Pulling a large trailer and not having a CDL

There are folks here that have done the same thing. The challenge seems to be getting insurance for them, that is reasonable. I have heard the same thing about converting enclosed to RVs. Insurance coverage becomes more of a challenge, because it doesnt have the "official" RV stamp on it.
