    98 Dodge pick up seat belt issue

    Over the years I have pulled a number of them apart and cleaned and WD40 them and most work fine. The "dirty/gummed up pendulum/mechanism" has been the issue 95% of the ones I have fixed (tried to fix).

    Have you checked out some of the classic truck site's? When I had my old Ford stepside I was looking at swapping to that style and they have some :cool: stuff out. You can either buy or copy.

    gives you time to look for the cummins, once you get all the needed parts sell the stroke (worth more in good running condition) and swap in the Cummins :cool:

    What was stated above, the only kicker is getting busted with the plates on a Truggy. If that does not happen no one will ever know the differance. If you are not going to run it on road, no worries, but if you do: I have talked to a number of people that are looking into (if not allready)...
