    CTD Fuel economy

2 or 4 wheel drive, gear ratio, tire size, type of driving? You said manual trans. I have a 4X4 12V with an auto so it does not count. I took my fathers on a trip (the reason I bought mine). The trip was from Utah to southern Arizona pulling a trailer down and flat towing an LWB sami back. We...

Advice on Commuter 4x4 pickups, suvs?

Samurai :awesomework: Before I went to 5.8 in the t-case I was getting 21-24. That was with 4.62's lockers and 4.16 t-case gears with a 16V & 33's. It would do 70 easy on the freeway :D When I went to the 5.8's it dropped to 21-22. I just put 35's on it and have not run the MPG numbers yet.

    BFGs MT or AT??

Well if you off road at all in the NW (RAIN=MUD) I would go with the MT. As far as the statements made "MT's except the snow & aren't great in rain" everything is relative. If you sipe the middle and drive normal you shouldn't have a problem. I just pulled a set of MTR's off and at the pressure...

    HREW vs. DOM

Are you building your own? If so does it matter? You most likely (for a bumper) are going to be ok. The reason for the DOM in a cage is to save life & limb. Your bumper is not as critical. Just my .02$

Hoglunds in Everett will do it ($$$ for a price). I bought my own snap gun after going there for a couple snap repairs :booo: Boat places are great. I am hoping by next fall I will have the machine to do it (in this state). I orderd the pinned hinges today (from TT).

    Weroc help

I have one question that (I feel) can have a big impact on possible responce. What is the general area, this side of the pass/Seattle? If you find a company/companies that want to donate for the free advert. They may want to know. If it is a northend company they only bite if it is close, or...

They are ok, lacking in the mud department (I think). Hoping to get a little better results out of the next set. I will admit once I got the air down far enough in the snow  The first trip I had them to hi and did not care for the performance.
