    BB's on the street

Do BBs. Even with this issue I still vote for them over tape weights. I think I have a different issue going on...

    BB's on the street

I CANT! :haha: that's the whole reason for the spacers. The offset of the wheel face/mounting surface (the area of the wheel with the 8 design holes in it) hits the brake caliper, which got me thinking... When i got a flat tire on the old aluminium wheels, the spare black crawler fit fine...

    BB's on the street

I replaced the left tie rod end and did the rack guide upgrade as well, never re-centered the steering wheel, i'll fix that with an alignment after i figger out this problem.

    naches/manastash memorial day???

Close it all down, then no one has to worry anymore. :awesomework: I spend most of my time on the internet, inside, sitting, so really there is no need for outdoor activities. :cheer:

Mines a prettier color than yours...

Ya, this thing is junk, just look at the rear bumper, i would blame the spotter for that one. :fawkdancesmiley::haha: Good to see a build thread of this started, there are a lot of neat things done to this rig. :awesomework:

    BB's on the street

Could be, dad suggested that on our way over to your place the other day, I hope not though, they're pretty new wheels, ran on the street mainly by the previous owner. :eeek:

    BB's on the street

They are the originals, I tore a hole in the sidewall of one, bought two newer ones and cycled them into the mix and put them on black crawler wheels, I had the wobble once I got my new spacers on. I was running the originals on the back and the newer ones up front, so I swapped the tires front...

    BB's on the street

Wow, cus my Iroks (bias also) ran perfect with BB's, two sets of 36's and a set of 39.5's. The worst tire i ran was a 38 TSL for about a week, had them try to balance them twice and they still wobbled like crazy.

    BB's on the street

It had a little wobble, maybe because i hadnt fixed the TRE or rack guide yet, but not as much wobble as now though. I had heard some of these newer trucks were hub-centric, not sure if mine is or not (96 taco), but it didnt seem like there was much room between the "hub" and the spacer, but...

    BB's on the street

I bet it would too, cus i wouldn't have wheels on the truck! :redneck: I need the spacers for the wheels to clear the brake caliper, its because the tacoma apparently needs special offset wheels vs. the standard black crawler wheels i got. So unless i go back to the old wheels...

    BB's on the street

I just installed AllPro spacers when i was messing around with stuff... :eeek:

    BB's on the street

I used the balance chart but had 2oz less in each tire (didnt buy a 3rd box of pellets, normally 2 is enough ) I just cant imagine that 2oz is a deal breaker, but i am def. going to try maybe 4oz. more, just to see. Hopefully the tires aren't messed up, they rode fine on the other wheels...

    BB's on the street

Ya, i'm not sure, i got two new...er tires recently and thought it was them, so i swapped them to the back and the original tires i had up front and theyre doing the same thing, i suspect it's not enought BB's, because they ran fairly smooth with convential balancing on the "other" wheels i had...

    BB's on the street

Im' resurrecting this thread, cus i love it! :fawkdancesmiley: And because i think it's failed me, or i've failed it, I put in 6oz of airsoft pellets in my 32x11.5x15 BFG's and they wobble like a SOB! :booo: I know i'm 2 ounces short of the reccomended amount, but damn! It's awful!. Just...

Man. Moment. Machine. What's your favorite photo of your wheeler?

One of my faves, Reiter Sand Chasm. Not even gonna go there.....:looser::haha: Having fun with the "Crazy Uncle!" Nothing like hitting fresh snow at full speed to make a kid laugh hysterically!

    naches/manastash memorial day???

What chances have we had? Reiter was shut down and you saw an exponential increase in usage at Naches, that's why the trails got hammered. Those trails have been there longer than most of us have been alive and are not anywhere near as dug up and tore to **** as other trails elsewhere. I recall...
