    Pathy Front end Redo

New springs came in. Here is a comparison of several springs. Left to Right: RE 1310 4.5" XJ front lift spring, Cut RE 1310, Automotive Customizers 3" Pathfinder lift spring (used and bent), and a cut stock XJ spring. Sits much more level now.

    Which welder?

I just got the Hobart 210 MVP for <$800. I like it for a hobbyist welder. Welds just as nice as any Lincoln or Miller I've welded with. In fact, Miller and Hobart are owned by the same parent company and share many parts. I like the dual voltage feature as well because my shop is only wired for...

    Tow rig problems

I'd guess a fuel pump as well, I had one die on my 97 last summer. I have a good thread on it somewhere on here. It is also easier to move the bed back than drop the tank.

Battery mounting location. Yay or nay?

Put the toolbox on top of the fuel tank, put battery inside toolbox; vent outside. A plus to this would be having the fuel filler inside the toolbox allowing you to lock it.
