    Link Advise

I would say rear first. There is a lot more **** to deal with in the front; steering, motor, exhaust, etc. Once you link the rear and are comfortable with that, then move onto the front.

    Lets Talk Small 4x4 pickups

I agree with Choppy:fawkdancesmiley: Hardbodys/Frontiers can be had for cheap and are decent little pickups. They don't command a premium like Toyotas do.

After 6 Toyotas and 1 Heep, I think I got it right!

Nice purchase! I doubt you'll need longfields, those 80 series axles are beef compared to mini truck axles.

Ends capped and fairlead mounts welded on. Winch and fairlead finally mounted and fabbed some 'wings' onto the bumper. Bumpers not quite finished, still gonna make a stinger over the winch to mount my lightbar on. Also gonna fill in the 'wings' with some plate and mount blinkers.

Well, the stupid cable shifters hang down low, so I had to fab a crossmember skid plate thing to protect them. This is what I came up with: Mounted: It hangs lower then I would like, but it is what it is. To get the t-case up any higher, I'd have to cut the floor pan and remount the...

Made a new tie-rod. The stock one rubs your springs when you do a spring over on a waggy 44. New tie-rod is 1.5"x.25" DOM tube. Hiems are 7/8" stud with a 3/4" bolt. Doesn't rub and is a lot beefier then stock. Should stand up to me.

    My chevy chevy chevy.......

Fix one problem and another pops up. Its now leaking anti-freeze. Not too bad, but it will almost empty the overflow tank from the cool line over a tank of gas. Checked common places; radiator tanks, radiator hoses, and heater hoses. None of them had any sign of leakage. No oil in the...
