Shocks and bumps got new bodies. Added reservoirs and re-valved. Haven't really heard from him since. We were gonna work on some spring rate stuff too.
ORI's have their place. Just not on this buggy. A properly tuned coil-over shock will work much better. I see too many rigs similar to this one that still have to run bumps and sway bars. So now, all the money you "saved" is out the window and you have a product that's limited on tunability...
No worm gear clamps will be harmed in the making of this buggy.
The goal is to keep this thing clean. I don't want clamps and zip ties everywhere.
So I made the stand offs for the steering cooler to clamp to instead of cutting holes in panels and having them seen. It'll be covered by the panels.

It's built with a 14 bolt pinion. So ID of the bearing is 1-5/8". It's pretty beefy. I ran a very similar size in my old buggy. It lasted years of trail wheeling before mud killed the bearing itself when I was racing ECORS. The ball bearings were gone and the only thing left was the...
This should wrap up just about all the panel work. Broady wanted a solid roof. With the angles it just wasn't gonna happen. Got it as close to solid as I could.
