    wizzo's buggy

Haven't kept up with this thread. Lost a ton of pics bc of photo bucket taking a ****. Anyhow, recently sold the buggy to @smbroady82 . Did some upgrades as part of our agreement. So I'll share those. In surgery, this gives you an idea of how things were before. Main change was adding 2.5...

    Racing on the rocks

LOL, my point is, it's not that easy to do. Also, I think you have to remember, there are listeners out there that are newbie's. So you can't constantly be talking over a listeners heads. I look at it like what I feel like Ian Johnson did/ does a great job of. Are some of his episodes boring to...

    Racing on the rocks

I agree, that was a tough one. Cade was driving to a race and the sound was pretty rough at times. Over all, I enjoy the content and most of the folks Jesse has on the show. Let me know when you get your wife's pod cast off the ground.

    Cheap carrier bearing

Only way I see ears breaking is from solid mount and no mid shaft slip or no bushing mount for flex. You seen something different,?

    Cheap carrier bearing

Broady is correct. I've used 60 and 14 bolt pinions. IMO this is a great set up. I'm sure there are better ways to do it. But this is great. I've done them with slip in the mid shaft and hard mounted. I usually use the two bolt pillow block bc it's a little more compact.

Stephen Broady's "An Actual Trail Rig" build

WOD uses those seats in most all their bouncer builds from what I've seen. To get the chassis low and tight, you can't put a traditional suspension seat in there.

It's the camera angle. It's not that close to the panel.

Thanks! Broady is spending money in the right places for sure. It should be a very dependable trail rig.

Pull. There is a 1-3/4" - 2" ish air gap between the firewall and the fan. Also, I will be cutting an opening and installing some wire mesh on the fire wall in front of the face of the cooler. So it should draw some air from the passenger compartment as well.

Trans cooler choice was easy. I've used CBR products on my own personal buggy with great results. We went with the largest double pass option they had for the space we had to work with. Here is the part# and diagram for anyone interested
