'06 Corvette Steering Column

A buddy of mine is building a street rod based loosely around a '50
Ford P/U. Actually, he is only using the cab and front sheetmetal. He has picked up an '06 Corvette steering column. What wiring and or internal mechanical issue is he going to have to address in order to use the column?

He only needs to have the column work as a steering device and probably the column lock.

Column lock is fully electronic--so the only way to go with that would to wire up a toggle and hope you don't over volt it, smoke it and have it stuck :redneck:

Make damn sure you don't accidentally hook up that toggle switch to the airbag. :haha:

Why use this column? semms like an UGLY choice. I wouldnt want it in my streetrod. Tons of better choices that are easier to adapt.

The Column does not telescope. He has this list of wires by plug, but no explanation of the wires. Can anyone help?
