I had been wanting a savage for a while and finally broke down and bought a savage .17 HMR. It's the grey laminate stock with thumb hole, and a heavy barrel. Bushnell 3x9x40 scope, and a bipod.. A little fine tuning at the range and varmint killing I go.

Nice gun, I have the same basic setup in black but with nikon glass and a factory accutrigger. Varmints don't have a chance. :redneck:

Very Nice!
I've had my Savage .17 for a couple years now and love it. It will just about drive nails at 100 yards on a calm day. I've got the standard grey lam stock with the stainless heavy barrel, I'm even using a Bushnell scope. Get it dialed and go blast some potatos.....
