There are two fuseable links coming off the battery. Green and yellow wires if I remember right. Measure the continuity after the fused part of the wire.

theres a fuse in the box in the engine compartment if I remember right that doesnt even look like a fuse

You need a multi meter and you just grab onto the fuseable wire with the multi meter clip and it well tell ya good or bad.
the fuse box that roccrawler talks about if you have it will inside the engine bay on the pass inner fender. If you have this (I don't think you do) it will contain the the two fuses if you don't then your rig has two fuseable wires. The box is black and inside has a mess of square fuses and relays.
Mine did this after I fawked up a battery install cuz somebody marked an old spare we had in the shop backwards, ended up destoying mly stereo and the relay in the engine compartment, it was the whole relay, the one farthest to the front and farthest to the passenger side of the truck.
