So I've got an '87 runner with a blown 3.slow and no tranny or T-case and a '83 pick up thats been rolled with 22r, tranny & t-case. Oh yeah and just about ZERO $ to spend so I have to do this project for as little as possible. I can't decide if I should swap the body of the runner to the pickup (I know I'll have to move some body mounts) or S.A.S. the runner and do an engine, tranny & t-case swap. Any suggestions, other than to go screw my self would be appreciated. Pictures to be added when I get home to may camera. Posted this on a few other boards but I'm looking for all the insight I can get.

SAS and drivetrain. Or you could give me the runner and I'll swap my truck into it and give you a detailed build up with pics so you'll know exactly how to do it when you find another runner:fawkdancesmiley:

well as long as your 83 is a short bed its much easier to swap bodys, six body mounts need to be moved and the runner body fits nicely.and its cheap, don't have to buy anything to do that swap.:awesomework:

Yeah I think I'm gonna swap the body. I just picked up a extra t-case for the duals and a winch is almost certainly on the way.
