Does anyone know the amount of oil that comes in a 2.0 16" emulsion coilover from fox?? I am looking for the amount the factory ships them with. I lost ALL of my shock oil last weekend at choco and need to put a new valve on the shock as well as fill it back up with oil. Thanks..COLT

I have no idea... :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

but, in the tech info links, I got to believe the information is in there listed. There is stuff in there that will teach you how to milk a cat. molaugh

Call Fox and ask.

I did... They will only tell me to take the shock completely apart and fill it up until it is 7.5" from the top of the body and the put it back together. The guy did'nt know the measured amount....Go Figure huh... I know for a fact that it is completely void of fluid, so I was just going to insert the fluid through the schraeder.

Called poly... They said "thats a very good question" 7.5" from the top of the body. Same thing fox told me.. I am abolut to just take all the oil out of a good shock to see what the measured amount is and let everybody know. I aint takin this bastard apart when it should be so much easier than that lol! i will keep looking and let yall know what I find! Thanks for the suggestions everyone.. thumb.gif

Make sure the shock is fully extended when you add oil. It is not hard to take them apart, probably easier than draining the other and refilling both

Will do! It will be a good project for this week. Thanks!

Colt stop being lazy and take the thing apart. Probably best since I am sure some dirt got into the shock without the shrader all weekend. I have the aluminum vice clamps if you need them
