I happen to have a nitro car racer working for me. He says they have a relatively large gas tank compared to normal cars and when you hear/see it gain speed quickly is when they start to run real lean (I guess due to gravity???) and when it stops is when its out of fuel. He says its real scary when the tether brakes.
