I'm looking at switching from Chevrolet to Dodge with my fleet trucks this year. We have put 5 new 5.3s in trucks over the past 4 years and I'm beginning to think that the Hemi is a better option for us. I love Chevy trucks and my wife drives a Tahoe so I am extremely comfortable with GM products, but I have 0 experience with Dodge. When you start looking at dollars, there is no comparison to a Ram, they are about 5K - 7K cheaper than Ford or GM using my fleet programs. So here is my question: In a 2012-2015 1500 Ram truck with the Hemi, what is the achilles heel? How do they hold up to normal abuse? Fuel economy? Anything to be scared of? Thanks!

the interior of ram trucks have really improved over the last few years - the last couple I have had haven't had any issues what so ever.

my current 2012 has almost 30k on the odometer and it hasn't been back to the dealer a single time except for oil changes and tire rotations that you get for free when do sign up for business link (4 free per vehicle I believe)

Ram is a lot cheaper for the amount of truck you get, the ram ST models come with more standard options and are less money

we have one of each of the big three for fleet vehicles at work and the ram is my favorite, the ford f150 is the worst - i hate the blind spots and the interior is terrible

My wife has a 2012 Ram 1500 4 door Express with the hemi. So far it has 60k miles on it and not a single problem. She uses it as her daily driver along with hauling hay and her horse trailer. She mainly drives it on the highway and it averages around 19-20 mpg.
