205 case

Can you turn a married case in to a divorced? If it is sealed can u not just make a flange to fit it ? I am needing a divorced case for the drive shaft clearence and I already have a 205 sitting in the shop. Any ideas?

Need a divorced input shaft, seal/bearing retainer, and to drill/tap the case for the retainer
Thats the easiest way if you cant find one.

I've seen a 208 ford case mounted divorced with some kind of 32 spline shaft slid up in it tbacon38 knows him his name is Doug Edgeman

divorced 205 cases seem to be pretty common and pretty cheap you could probably just buy one for 100-150 bucks and save yourself alot of time and headache. sell the married case for more and come out ahead.

depends on which case you have mine was a figure 8 so i took a two drive slipe and shorten it up and found a bearing and made a mount
