205 case

Thoughts on using a 205 transfer case in ecors buggy.

Was looking into aftermarket case but thought the money would be better spent on the RCV'S.

Any problems I should be looking at??

Edit....I like how easy my 205 shifts in and out of front dig
and it dont pop out like some aftermarket cases Ive seen.

gearing.

if its right hand drop (I hope not LP front) you can do 3:1. If not, its tough to justify it in the long run when you have to redesign part of a buggy around the atlas when you put it in.

Not too concerned about the gearing,
I have a 203/205 now and hardly ever use the 203.
It only gets used in very slow crawling and really only b/c its there
not b/c I need it.

From what I have seen most of the courses are about speed and all rough stuff is down hill.
