22r issues

A guy here at work is having some issues with his 22R. It wont idle, floods out at idle, occasionally it will clear up and run fine. Vacuum line routing? Anyone have a diagram?

stock carb, or weber? Sounds like either the Idle circuits are plugged, or the needle/seat has a bit of debris, causing fuel to leak into carb. First thing to try would be remove the idle mixture screw, and blow a little air into the hole where screw was---reinstall screw in original setting...hope this helps....

It had a Weber on it, but he removed it and put a stock carb back on it. :eeek:
