^This.Don't worry too much about the bottem end. Power is built in the head on these motors. A good amount of port work with a good cam and header will really wake these little motors up. Any more than that and it gets too expensive for the little amount of gain. It's much cheaper to do a 3RZ swap than try to get a lot of power from a 22R.
