22RE Charging Problem.

Is there a way to 1 wire a toyota alternator?

My brother has a 86 22RE Turbo motor in his 83 pickup. The alternator is good and everything is hooked up correctly but it wont charge the battery.

Try and replace the brushed in the altantior.

Check the mini harness runing from the alt to the drivers side fender..As well as the ground thats in it running to the ground on the p/s pump mount.
