22re problem

my 90 22re dies immediately after start. It only runs for about 2 seconds and dies, does anybody have any ideas?

Had that problem befor took forever to figure it out sounds like the regulator on the fuel rail by the fire wall passenger side there also a vacume hose comes of it. 17 mm 2 copper washers there about $100 new .the diapdhram dries out if its been sittng! good luck mike.

There is also a possibility it's the Start Injector Time Switch. The cold start injector is initiated off a different switch I believe, that's why it only runs for a second or two.

With the information givin there is almost no way to know whats wrong.

an unpluged MAF will do what you describe. so will quite a few other things.

Hey guys sorry for the lack of furthe info on my problem, but I finally found the problem and it was one of the wires coming out of the ignitor (green wire) The truck is running good except now I am getting a 5 1 code.
