This might be a dumb question. But, I accidentally broke the harness plug for this while pulling my motor. What is it? Do I need it?

That looks like the VSV for the A/C high idle. It will run just fine without it. Just won't idle up the engine when you turn on the A/C. thumb.gif

Re: Re: 22re question

Almost done with my motor swap. Just had 4 hoses that I don't know where they go. Hopefully yall know.

both on the fuel pressure regulator.

And then the hose that my finger is on runs back under the truck. But I'm not sure where the engine bay side goes. I assume one of the three Vacuum nips I just showed you.

The one your finger is on is the fuel return line, it hooks to the bottom nipple on the fpr.

Vac line on the fpr is well, a vacuum line. Hook it to vacuum.

Not sure on the egr valve line. It looks like an exhaust gas signal.

I always take all that **** off.

Re: Re: 22re question

If you normally just take it all off, can i just cap them all and call it a day? Will it throw a code or ?? Minus the fuel return, I'll hook that up.

Code lol.

Yeah you can cap and remove all emissions related stuff.

The only vac lines on the gremlin motor are fpr and charcoal canister purge.

This may or may not be the setup thats on your truck. You can find most vaccum diagrams on google images.

I gotta think about these things. We've got emissions down here in the 615.

Not all of us do in the 615. Might give you some more options.

I found that one. Although, it was helpful, the three I had left over were on the backside of the motor. Couldnt really tell where they went. Ive got it all now though. Just waiting on the last couple parts to come in.
