Hell, we've beat the Yota axle discussion in the ground. How about the steering? I have full hydro steering on a stock pump that is tired. I have seen everything from 1650 psi @ 4.5 GPM, 1450 @ 4.0, and 1450 @ 8gpm. All different companies and different kits.

I read and reread BillaVistas hydraulic steering. I get the concepts, but I am looking for real world experience on 22REs with full hydro.

Kits or self built........what's best for the money?

Psc de kit is bad ass! I drove the taco on the road a lot couldn't really tell it was full hydro! The tractor had home brew and worked good also ub not as fluid and made the belt squill a lot when at full lock!

The Trail gear 1650 pump has worked great for me.

The stock toyota bracket is easy to modify for a saginaw tc pump (Tg/PSC/jeep pump)

Ram and orbital will depend on axle....

Trail gear 1650 pump going strong for 5-6 years now

I kept seeing the 1650 as an option on the 3.0 and bigger motors. Can you tell any power difference with this setup? There isn't a lot of ponies left in this beast of a 22RE. I am trying not to use all of them just on steering.

DE is def. the way to go. I never had any issues with the TG pump or orbital they offer. I ran a SE ram and was never really happy with it... If you want a price on the TG stuff let me know, I can hook you up.

Also, have a friend who has a lightly used PSC pump he can no longer use due to a motor swap. I just txt him and will PM you with a price if he still has it.

PM me the details on the Trail Gear stuff. He'll, if he has the PSC let me know too. Any other thoughts opinions?

I went with the 1650 TG pump on my old build. Pushed a SE Ag ram on a D60 just fine. I wouldn't hesitate to run the TG pumps again once I put assist on the rig I have now.

2 buggies 1 stock pump 11 ci orbital 2" se ram has run for 6 years, 2 stock pump 9 ci orb. 1 1/2" se ram . both steer the same and make a little noise. I have no issues.

My experience with the TG 1650 pumps has not been good 3 bad ones in a row they refunded my money and I went with PSC no trouble since
