Is the fuel pump actually working? You need to have the intake piping on for the Air Flow Meter to register air flow and turn the fuel pump on after the initial crank over. Test it by taking the intake piping off on the AFM side and putting a stick or a wrench or something in there to prop the AFM open (anything other that "completely closed" will do). Turn the key to on and stick your ear down close to the fuel tank. You should hear the pump buzzing. If not, you're going to need to do some troubleshooting and figure out why it's not running.
If the pump is running, check for fuel pressure by cracking open the cold start injector banjo bolt. It's not totally accurate, but you should have a good spurt of fuel come out right when you crack it open... if you don't, something's plugged/clogged between the pump/tank and the fuel rail, or the pump isn't running.
If the pump is running and the fuel is at the rail, I'd start looking at the ECM as being bad, since it's pretty rare for all 4 injectors to just up and quit...
You say it will run on starting fluid... does it sound ok when you do this? A common problem when working on these rigs is to get the distributor 180 degrees off. It will cough and sputter if you do this, but won't actually run (even with starting fluid) since the spark is happening at all the wrong times on all the cylinders.
