Before reading any farther let me say this: I am in no way complaining. I love my kids and truly realize how blessed my wife and I are to have our boys. That being said, for those of you who have 2, did you find your second to be more to handle than your first. I'm not talking about balancing two kids either I mean individually. Our first son is 5 and he is hyper and always going, loves trucks, ninjas, and all the stuff boys do. Our second is 18 months and will run circles around all of us. He climbs, he chases, he follows his big brother he gets beat on by his big brother, climbs in the toilet, unlocks baby gates, eats constantly and on top of all that he is small! A buddy has a 8 month old who is almost the same size. So as much as we thought the 1st would be our handful, it's looking like he is going to be tame compared to the second! For those of you who have 2 or more, what was it like with Yall?

Our oldest boy is 5 and he has lots of energy but is fairly well behaved. Our girl is 2-1/2 and is WFO. She is definitely a wild child and super messy. She is always following me out to the garage and getting herself into the dirtiest thing possible. If she is outside and there is any mud whatsoever to be found, she is in it. When she plays with toys or books it looks like a tornado touched down in our house. Our other boy is only 2 months old so it is way too early to tell his personality but so far he is the chillest baby of the three. Only makes a fuss when he is wet/dirty, hungry, or needs to burp. Very calm and easy going compared to past experiences.

I only had to spank my 10 yr old twice. This 3 yr old is defiant, hyper, whiney, but has manners most of the time. It's a wierd combo. :dunno:

Edit:
And a story to go with it-
Between 1-2 yrs old RJ always has this NO! **** he does that drives me nuts. I always wondered where he got it from, then one day I had to pick him up from our sitter, her grandmother that I can't stand. I walked in and she had just put him in the high chair about to feed him some **** from a jar, gets it to his face and he said NO!. She says, "Well, ok then..." and starts to throw it in the garbage! I said, "OOOOOOH **** NO! YOU MAKE HIM EAT THAT! NOW I KNOW WHERE HE GETS THAT NO **** FROM!"

Just a word of advice- limit child to grandparent activity. :gtfo:

I don't have any children (yet) but I'm the second born and I am a lot more wild than my brother. I'm probably the reason my parents didn't have a third! :rolf: Same with my wife. She is the first and was tame but her sister is wild.

I'm second in my family and I'm the only hell my mom ever raised. My sisters are all tame goodie goodie conformists. I'm the only one that raised/raises hell.

I am blessed with two so far. My duaghter is over 140 IQ and capable of having conversations that most adults struggle with. Complex concepts that baffle my mind and headstrong as the day is long. My boy might be related to Kush. Chilled out, calm, collected. You don't distribute milk, do you :flipoff1: .

I want a third and my first agrees. She hath named the next girl Cuba. What a nut.

Somehow both of ours have turned out great.

So all our kids aren't great? What's up with that? You saying I'm a bad father aren't you! So much for kinder and gentler!!! Haha just joking

We are both terrible parents for trying to instill a trust and love for God in our children. Bhahahahaha
