3.4 toyota swap

ive got a '90 toyota pickup with a 3.0 in her right now with a SAS, locked in the rear with 35's. been kinda tossin a few different ideas thru my head on an engine swap for my truck or just a plain rebuild. any opinions or recommendations on what works best. ive heard plenty of people doin the chevy 350 thing, but that would tear every drivetrain peice to shreds without upgrading them (and thats hella spendy). thought about the 3.4, but thats about 3 grand down the road. money i realy don't have. :redneck:
