Boss said I could have 3 weeks off if I want it. if not he can keep me busy. I can take home $375 a week off seasonal layoff. its my money, and KS has a 600+ million surplus in unemployment benefits. now if you take you waiting week and 2 more weeks after it, you get paid for all 3. He knows I have **** in the shop to do, so he is giving me the option. now with a short week for christmas and new years, its looking like I might. NOICE. work in the shop for cash and take the gov check for bills. what to do ???

I'm hoping to get some **** wrapped up. I need my tall truck painted and gone this spring, pinky with a new tranny/brakes/tune up and gone, s10 gone, burn table set up, some more details on water meter/electricity/conditional use permits for the shop/house done and this tahoe wrapped up that's in the shop. I still have the guy's truck out back that has been there for 2+ years that needs links/rocks/16" c/o's and an 8100. he hasn't dropped off a grand to start so I haven't started laughing I need to quit saying yes.

I am amazed there are that many around there cutting up rigs, let alone paying YOU to do it. molaugh

jk, hope I can get down your way this weekend and have a few beers.

molaugh molaugh Sooo true! Any new years wheelin in P-town this weekend? I should know tonight what is going down in the northland. Otherwise I might just camp in Paola for 4 days.

Yeah you need to keep cranking out other peoples work but bid accordingly.

You DO need to build yourself a buggy, not just so you have a reliable wheeler, but you need a calling card. I'm telling ya, if you crank out a couple rigs that are Coleworxs or TC quality you will have more business that you know what to do with. You have the knowledge and capabilities to make it happen.

I doubt anyone around there has that kinda cash or need for a TC or coleworks type of rig is all.

Yes Kelly does need a cleaner rig that shows his talents, he is definatly came a long ways from his first time in the rocks! thumb.gif

And how many TC rigs do you think stay in the Dakotas? :flipoff1:

Location doesn't matter these days. Especially if you can clearly communicate with your customers via email, and keeping them up to date on cost and progress. I.E. pics and spreadsheets.
