I have a 355 sbc with Top proline heads 235cc runners 2.05/1.60valves 64cc combustion chamber,
Isky cam with .548/.555 lift .292/.296duration with 1.65 roller rockers (that I already have) puts it at .600/.610lift, with an overlap of 82*.

My question is would 13:1 compression with this setup be to high ?

And yes I realize that this cam is much more suited for higher rpms, I'm sure someone will point this out

From my expierence propane loves compression, I ran a 355 sbc on it and it loved it. Now I'm running a 406sbc with 11.5-1 compression with a 525 cam with no problem.

You're going to need as much compression as you can get because those heads are going to kill your bottom end with that size runner. But 13:1 will work good with the propane. But are you going to put a dual kit on it so you can turn that kind of rpm that those heads and cam are going to need to turn?

You can run 13:1 compression with propane as long as you have a good cooling system. I am assuming that ratio is the static compression
and not the dynamic which is normally a little lower since it takes in to account when the valves actually close. And you will need a dual mixer setup
to take advantage of the horsepower and rpm that engine is going to see.

Let me know if I can help. Conversion systems are what we do.

This was my debate with running the cam and heads. I guess 13:1 it is and a dual kit.. As soon as its back from the machine shop ill worry about ordering the mixers
