I have an 84 toy with a 97 4.3 vortec it runs like crap i put new fuel injection and i noticed the fuel pressure regulator is not hooked up it is vacume i was going to hook it up to the brake booster so is it ok to drill a hole in the plenum or is ther another way to run the vacume line

After talking to you yesterday, I did a bit of research... and I found a couple references that state there is no vacuum hose connected to it since it is inside the manifold, the source of vaccum. You just need to point the nipple down... since the air flow is coming from the top, flowing through the manifold into the cylinders, if you have it pointed up, you will not get any vacuum pull. You want the nipple pointed in the direction of airflow, which will create the vaccum flow needed.
