i got a 4cyl 5 speed yj with d30 front ford 8.8 rear running 33x1350x15 tsls im in the process of doing the rear 4 link im going to run coilover springs with blistine shocks my question is what rate springs should i run? i was figuring some 300 or 350lb spings but im not sure have any of u guys had any experence doin this or know somebody i can call to figure this out thanks tommy taylor

I've got the same jeep and run stock Cherokee coils. They work perfect

The only problem i got with that is they are to long i got my stock frame an i stretched it about 6 in so im needing a shorter spring. Im running about 5 in of lift in the front and trying to avoid cutting the frame up

Mine is mounted on top of the axle and right on the inside of the frame, not butted up to the bottom but prob close to the top of the frame.you just have to fab up some buckets.

yea i may end up doing that i bought the bluetorch fab brackets an i hate to cut em up lol...

how much did your stock xj springs compress with the jeep sittin on them???

Not bad I really don't remember how much they compressed, just tack them on and sit the weight down on it and make adjustments from there to get your ride height you want.
