currently i have a 79 chevy 1/2 ton which soon is going to have a dana 60 front from a 1 ton chevy and a ff 14 bolt rear. I was wanting to 4 link the rear and run coils in the front with a 4 link....this brings me to my question i dont really care about the street drivability its more for trails.... does anyone have a good web site or info regarding this? Im not reallt good at fabing stuff but want to learn as i build my truck. help with the 4 link in the rear would be nice ive looked but everyone here runs 4 links on buggys or toyotas....ive lookied for 4 link calculators but non of the links work...Im lost and im getting the rear soon and want to 4 link it when i put it in....info anyone?

Leaf springs :awesomework:

Wheel it now and 4 link it later.

You might want to try the Chevy section on Pirate. The concept of a 4 link from a Buggy or Toy will transfer over to your Chevy.

I suggest before you jump in head first, start fabbing on small projects first. I also think you should just wheel your rig with leaf springs first and your fab skills and driving skill will progress along with your rig. If your "not really good at fabbin" building a 4 link probably isnt the best idea right now. Your crap wont work, and will break. Work up to it

thanks guys ive been working on my welds and such but i dont really trust myself enoughto 4 link the rear....and i searchex pirate and there is a guy who did this same thing but he cut the frame behind the cab and made a new frame so i cant really go off his
