44 tsl aetna,tennesee cut

I currently own a set of 42 pit bull rockers and adding it up in my lifetime I have owned about 18 sets of swampers and realized nothing beats a swamper in my opinion and I have always grooved my tires 44 bloggers 42 tsl, ect but I could never bring myself to do the heavy Tennessee or aetna grooving on a new tire without knowing if the traction is worth the time and effort I was wanting to 44tsl up front 44 boggers in back or if the aetna or Tennessee grooved pattern is the way to go then put all 44tsl grooved on all 4 corners' any info would be awesome 44 mullet combo or 44 tsl aetna cut thanks Johnny Red

Tennesse cut is great for all around wheeling but they wear out fast a lot faster than Athena cut which are great for hook but not the best for lateral traction

If it was your ride would you go aetna cut tsl all around or aetna cut up front cut bloggers on back, I know some guys are really liking the 43 sticky but I am going to ride on road to trail around the house thanks for info I am new to this site it is really awesome but I have been offroading my whole life I remember when my dads 35 gumbos were the biggest and baddest around thanks for your time

I would go to a 43 sx they will wear about the same as a cut tsl, I ran Tennesse cut tsl on my rig before going to the sticky tire it was a great setup but the sx sticky is just a lot better. The 43s have lot stronger side wall (I mean night and day difference) and there is no comparison on rocks if you could afford the sx go with them if not Tennesse cut some tsl and rock out

Also if you are planning on running tsl I would buy a spare bc you will need it if to cut the tires all you need is a chisel and a blow torch and about 10 hours

Jccarter1 I ran 38sx about 15 years ago on a one ton willys when that was the biggest size and they was tough as hell I ran several sets of 44s and I always loved the width I got a van allstine groover should help a lot grooving thanks for the info especially where you have run aetna ten cut thanks a lot for your time ,Red

Badass cut imo. That's how I'd do mine if they didn't wear so much quicker. Though once this first set wears out I'll probably do that.
