Making some plans for the much needed revamp of the TJ. It was built by Sunray Engineering in 1997.
Technology has changed a little since then...
2.5" air shocks are freakin cheeeeeeep, anyone driven on the street with them on a 3,700-4,000 lb. rig? 70-80 mile trips, tops; mostly just running around town, to class, store, etc. They are much smaller than coilovers (easier to fit) and *should* hold the weight just fine??? I ran 2" air shocks on the Campbell car and hated them, but they were the first run of Fox's and I tend to run into things off road, the TJ gets babied (in comparison).
My plans were 3 links front and rear, heavy ass high pinion unit bearing CTM built 60 in the front, CTM built 9"/14 bolt rear, 35" AT's for the street and 37" stickies off road.
