I recently purchased a used th350 to toyota adapter and it came with two shafts. I am struggling to figure out which output shaft needs to be installed in the th350; any advice??

This is the two piece downey adapter (21 spline)....

I have no idea but the shaft on the left in your pic looks to have very little spline engagement. The two shafts look to be the same other than the ends.
The one on the left looks like a factory output shaft with a coupler welded to the end.
The one on the right looks to be a new machined shaft, possible better material??

The transmission side is the same for a 2 or 4 wd. The difference is the bolt on tailhousing and a longer shaft for the 2wd.

The longer shaft was built new and the coupler was to be cut to length. but I heard it was for a 700r may work in a 350?
