I have some new 3/4" X 5/8" heims that have been sitting around for 2 years... I'd like to use them for my tie rod/drag link...

Is the bolt size big enough?? I know the radial load is stronger on the heim since the ball part has more material than a 3/4" X 3/4"... My hydro assist ram came with 3/4X3/4 but I figure the difference isn't that big of a deal.

Thanks in advance.

yes. if not double shear it on the arm, I'll break a piece of plate for that if you need it. PSC arms have 5/8" holes, as do some of the partsmike's. Also, the clevis ends that dietz got on his ram have 5/8 so its a go

Cool, thanks for the reply.

These are the KORE arms that don't come with holes drilled. I just had those QA1 joints that I scored for free a long time ago that I hadn't used yet soo wanted to verify that it'd be a legit setup.

Spidertrax arms use 5/8" bolts in single sheer. Kim has managed to bend one slightly. Just keep an eye on them and keep them tight.
