So I've been looking, watching, pricing trying to buy a lift for over a year.
Just got the call. I got the line on 2 lifts from a shop that is relocating. That guy called a buddy of my dads and told him $1000 bucks come get them today. I get one for $500 and labor removing both. :flipoff1: we are meeting there at 4 and yanking them. FAWK YEAH $500 for a fawking 2 post lift. Shiat!!!!
2 post, supposed to be 10k's with the crossover on the ground. Safety's and everything included! WOOT!!!!

And in other news, I am very very close to closing a deal on a buggy......
And the Megamillions is $325 million with cash option $195 million. Shhhh don't jinx me I'm a lucky mofo today. WOOT!!!!!!!

If you win the megamillionssss can I please have $50k?

Have fun with that lift you lucky ****er! I just wish I had a shop to work in! :P

That's a damn deal buddy!...We bought one and put in my neighbors garage a few years ago that sounds just like you described...it was $1500 and we thought we were getting a deal! I sold the 2-post out of my Kemar Exhaust business for $2000.00! You got a bargain!

Aight, its official. I booked my flight. I'm going to Detroit to look at a buggy on the 10th.
And have made arrangements for a buddy of mine to haul it to KC on the 15th if I pull the trigger on it. That means I'll have something to wheel at Kelly's bachelor party.
Should be sick as hell. It looks alot like Hal Forsts current buggy but minus all of the bling bling parts. And MattO is checking on the 39" Creepies for me today.

Details in case you missed the other thread:
Chassis is like a Twisted Customs (Built by Rich Schmaus, every bit as good as Paule), All aluminum 5.3 V8 (out of an Chevy SSR), TH350, Atlas 3.8, Master Craft Seats
Walker Evans Wheels and Shocks, 37" Trepadors - ( it will fit 39's), Steering Dana 60's front and rear.
4340 AMERICAN made shafts (Superior / Ouverson), 300m Ujoints (Longs / CTMS), 1" Heim Joints
Airbumps in the front (have them for the rear if interested...just have not put them on yet)
Swaybar in the back. Ron Davis Radiator

Today has been damn busy with everything and with work. My cellphone is already on 1 bar of battery from all of the talking on it.

Ok, 40's sorry I get tings cornfused.

So got both lifts pulled an home. One is a badass very similiar to Kelly's. Challenger 10k Made in the USA. with the chains. Sum bitch is hellafide stout. Thanks to helping Kelly pull his I had this one down in less than 20 minutes.
The other one however was a 7k Blue lift from Korea or something that was a cable lift. Took us damn near 3 hours to get it down.

I kept the Challenger and dads buddy Ray took the other one. So yep, 10K lift for $500. I think I'm going to have the hydro pump rebuilt as it had some serious lag. Lucky my bro-in-law runs a hydraulics shop.

If you want to sell one of those lifts I would be interested in purchasing one for sure. I have a friend that said he had the same deal come to him about 3 weeks ago from someone.....I could kick his ass for not telling me! I'm also in the hunt for a 2 post lift.

I sold the 7k lift to my dads buddy for $500 and helping me get both lifts out of there and one to my shop and the other to his. So even though I could have sold it for way more, it was a favor type deal.

What sucks was there was a hydraulic alignment rack that had we had the time and a bigger trailer and way to load it I would have snagged. It was supper nice fairly new, and would have made somebody a very nice alignment rack. I bet I could have sold it for $5k and it was still a steal. We just didn't have the resources to get it. And the lease ran up on Friday night at midnight.
They also had a badass sunk in the floor roller setup for dyno, and emissions testing. There were some other guys there to get it, and they gave up after their wrecker wouldn't lift the thing without pulling a wheelie.
The place is supposed to be razed this week. All will go to scrap.

The thing about the lease was that it stated all fixures go with the property. And the lifts and everything should have been left as they were fixed. But since it was getting razed, the property owner was lax about it.

Kelly, believe me, I was standing on it at 7:45 at night looking at it and trying to figure out how to get it out and taken home. It only has 6 bolts that hold it to the head of the hydaulic cylinder than is sunk in the floor. It had the pivoting hydraulic lift that you flipped down and it would lift the frontend so you sould play with the front end and all.
Like I said had i had a way to get it I would have.

we got an old school 2 post lift from a friend of mine fro 5 bills too. its a 6 k lift but built like a brick **** house. bottom crossover and all. also got a line on a top cross 10 k for 8 hundred but dont haveroom for it.... damn the luck.

wyatt, after looking at that thing again you're gonna have to put some serious front protection on that thing. first roll over or even flop will trash that glass front clip. any good rollover will smash your rad. I'd at least grille hoop it. look at the detail pics again, and damn, that **** is hanging out there vulnerable.

Agreed, but there is a hoop that goes over the top of the radiator. The backside of radiator bolts to it. However, yes, I'm going to put some tube work on it. Prolly something ala Trentfab style. Just have to see when I see it. I'm also thinking painting all of the skins and hood Arrest Me Red. Tiffany says KState Purple, but I'm thinking Red.
