5th wheel trailer?

You thing this would make a good 2 rig trailer? in the sleeper there was a leak and the floor is now unusable.

A lot of 5th wheel camp trailers have a weak frame that is barely up to par to start with. You could always reinforce it though and replace the springs and axles with heavier units.

yeup, that's pretty much it. Strengthen the frame and those axles won't hold up to that task at all.. Not sure about the hitch itself.

Well why not just build one from scratch then if I have to do all that to it but it's rated at like 14,000 lbs

with 5 lug axles? That size shouldn't be weighing anywhere near that...

Sounds like that one may have a strong frame under it. The hitch box may be a weak point but doesnt take much to reinforce that area. T?he 5 lug axles bring the suck. the ones under my trailer bent the first time I had a load on it.
